In einen Pfirsich beißen

Das Gefühl, wenn Glück wie
Kohlensäure prickelnd in die Blutbahn fließt
Wenn Pfirsichblüten blühen
in meiner Brust und im Herz
Wenn ich für einen Moment
vergessen kann, dass ich ständig
mehr sein muss als ein Wesen, das fühlt
Wenn die Luft reif und schwer riecht
Wie dicker süßer Saft
Wenn dieses Licht plötzlich ein
Tor ist, aber nicht weg
sondern in mich hinein
Wenn ich dieses Gefühl nur
schwebend erfassen kann und für
einen Augenblick all meine Ichs
ein Alles werden
Dann habe ich einen Moment
das Licht gefunden.

Biting into a peach

That feeling when joy
fizzes like sparkling bubbles
rushing through my veins.

When peach blossoms bloom
inside my chest, within my heart.
When, for a moment,
I can forget
that I must always be more
than just a being that feels.

When the air is ripe and heavy,
thick with sweet nectar.
When this light becomes a door—
not leading away,
but opening inward.

When I can only grasp this feeling
while floating,
and for a fleeting moment,
all my selves dissolve
into everything.

Then, for a breath of time,
I have found the light.
