Nune Manukyan

ARTIST|SPECIALIST IN DECORATIVE AND APPLIED ARTS

Nune Manukyan is a mosaic artist and specialist in decorative and applied arts. She holds both a Bachelor’s degree(2010) and a Master’s degree(2012) from the State Academy of Fine Arts of
Armenia,where she has been a lecturer since 2013. She has been creating mosaics since 2011,
working primarily with natural stones and
organic materials.Her works are predominantly abstract,inspired by nature and the human inner world.For Nune, the creative process is sacred—she values the freedom to allow materials,textures, and colors to find their own rhythm and flow.
With each piece, shelets the composition evolve intuitively,guided by emotion and concept, allowing the final result to emerge as a revelation.
She has participated in various exhibitions and has conducted mosaics masterclasses, generously sharing both her technical expertise and artistic philosophy.

To me, natural stones are like people—each one has its own character and demands a unique approach. mostly work with semi processed stones to highlight their raw, honest beauty, avoiding any artificial coatings or polish. I place great value on the authenticity of materials.

I enjoy blending different natural elements such as stone, wood, and metal. This fusion creates a sense of unity between different natural worlds, as if each piece is a small fragment of the real world—where these
materials naturally coexist.

Each work is created with love, as a piece of my inner world offered to the outer world.
